I may have just found the lazy girl solution to straighten your hair in record time. I grabbed this ConAir Infinity Pro Paddle Brush and wanted to give it a try to see if this would solve my 30 minutes hair routine. Come hang out, see how it works and my review of this blowout brush.
I don’t know about you, but I hate having to spend 15-20 minutes blow drying my hair and then another 15 or so to use the straightener. It’s just time consuming and to do this EVERY SINGLE DAY… ugh!
If you agree with the above statement, then you are going to love this paddle brush that I got from Amazon. It’s a ConAir paddle brush, I know I’m a little late to the party, but it is a blowout air brush so it will brush, blow dry and straighten your hair all at the same time. Like an awesome blow out from the hair dresser… in your bathroom!
It can be used dry or wet and it’s a paddle brush- which means that it’s not volumizing because some of us don’t need or want the extra volume.
The brush itself is a little bit big, but it is a blow dryer and a straightener in one.. so it kinda makes sense that it would be a bit big. The bristles are nice and soft- they don’t hurt but instead give you a nice head massage/ scratch as you do your hair. And it comes with 3 settings- high, low and a cool option to lock in your style.
The only thing that I don’t like about this paddle brush is that for my current hair- it doesn’t work on some of the shorter hairs. I am a few months into growing out an undercut so I have a bunch of different lengths of hair right now. The shorter ones don’t get as straight with the paddle brush because they’re not long enough to get good tension on.
One thing that I do want to mention is that you are still going to want to use a heat protectant for your hair. I use this one from Aveda and have had it for years. I love that it gives me the right amount of shine and frizz protection while not feeling greasy.
I think that this hot air brush is an awesome way to straighten and blow your your hair in half the time. If you are looking for volume when you straighten your hair, you may want to check out some of the round brush options. I can’t stress enough how much this brush has changed my life and convinced me to do my hair so much more often.
