Most computers are so neutral and.. bland.. either black or gray or silver.
What about the girly colors? What about pinks and purples? I went on the hunt for some girly gamer gear that will actually suit a gamers needs and wants.
The headsets that I looked at needed to have 2 requirements: color being pink or purple and it had to have cat ears, or the ability to add cat ears.
What I found were some that were an array of headsets and then I hit the jackpot.. the cat ears themselves which are able to attach to any headset.
Razor Kraken Gaming Headset costs about $150 bucks which is a steep price tag for a headset. But it does come with cat attached and it is part of their pink line of gaming items. Its 7.1 l surround sound capable, with a retractable noise cancelling microphone.
The downside is that even for this steep price tag, they’re not wireless. Which to me, is super sad. I really don’t want to be tangled up in wires and cords as I am playing, or have to fight with it when I have to get up to pee.
Pink Kitty Ears are attachable and they’re PINK. Which is totally a win in my book.
The reviews are mixed about them, not because of quality, but because they’re a generic size that fits some headsets better than others.
I didn’t see a seller- verified size that they fit on the site, but I am definitely interested in picking myself up a pair of these.
They do state that they’re made of silicone, and judging from the pictures, they’re not a hard silicone, but may still be able to be felt if you wear your headphones for extended period of time.
When it comes to getting a mouse, a lot of people have different preferences due to hand size and the games that they play.
I have almost child sized hands, so a lot of the gaming mice feel way too big or I have to stretch my fingers to ensure that I hit the right buttons. I found a few that look promising, and of course, they’re going to match the girly set up that we have starting here.
First up is the Redragon M602. This mouse has 8 buttons, 7 of which are programmable with
the RGB backlights. The mouse is an ergonomic design with up to 7200 DPI (speed of the mouse on the screen- the higher the number, the faster the mouse moves).
It’s also weighted with an anti-ski scroll wheel, which can come in handy when you’re clicking with the scroll wheel and don’t want to accidentally scroll up or down.
Next up is the Attoe Gaming mouse in pink. It has 4 DPI levels (up to 3200 DPI) that control the speed of the cursor on the screen. Comes with 6 buttons and is Chroma RGB Backlit. Priced at $16.97.
Razer Lancehead TE Gaming mouse
This mouse is ambidextrous, so it can be used by people who are right and left handed. It does have thumb buttons on both sides of the mouse, which is the first time I’ve seen that. There are a total of 8 mechanical buttons on the mouse. Its RGB lit and has a programmable DPI level up to 16,000 DPI.
The Razer Huntsman keyboard matches the pink Razer set up that they have, and includes the number pad, which makes it an all around functional keyboard outside of gaming as well. It’s a mechanical keyboard, of course.
If you’re not brand loyal to Razer, or their price tag, another good option is the MOTOSPEED keyboard, which is about $50 on Amazon. The pink color is about the same as the Razer, so it should match pretty well if you have nay of their pieces.
So what if you’re not a PC Gamer???
I got you covered!
If your console of choice is Xbox.. then they have a Microsoft controller in pink, although it’s a darker pink.. it’s still pink and a legit controller.
If you don’t feel the need for a new controller, you can always pimp out your current controller with skins or these colorful silicon covers.
Sadly with the recent release of the PS5, there are no colorful controllers or covers made for them yet. And TBH, I don’t have a Playstation, so I wouldn’t know if the covers and controllers for the 4 work with the 5..
If you or someone you know is into gaming and loves pink or pretty colors, these can make some great gifts!
