How to Make a Pink Gaming Setup for Girly Gamers

Most computers are so neutral and..bland.. either black or gray or silver. LAME! What about the girly colors? What about pinks and purples? I went on the hunt for some girly gamer gear that will actually suit a gamers needs and wants. What I ended up making is a pink gaming PC setup consisting of headsets, mice, keyboards and other fun tech.

Pink Gaming Headsets

The headsets that I looked at needed to have 2 requirements:

  1. color being pink or purple and
  2. it had to have cat ears, or the ability to add cat ears.

What I found were some that were an array of headsets and then I hit the jackpot.. the cat ears themselves which are able to attach to most headsets.

Razer Kraken Gaming Headset costs about 150 bucks which is a steep price tag for a headset. But it does come with cat attached and it is part of their pink gaming line up. Its 7.1 surround sound capable, with a retractable noise cancelling microphone. The downside is that even for this steep price tag, they’re not wireless. Which to me, is super sad. I really don’t want to be tangled up in wires and cords as I am playing, or have to fight with it when I have to get up to pee.

Pink Kitty Ears attachable ears and they’re PINK. Which is totally a win in my book. The reviews are mixed about them, not because of quality, but because they’re a generic size that fits some headsets better than others. I did not see a seller- verified size that they fit on the site, but I am definitely interested in picking myself up a pair of these. They do state that they’re made of silicone, and judging from the pictures, they’re not a hard silicone, but may still be able to be felt if you wear your headphones for extended period of time.

Furry Ears Black and White Headset Cover are an awesome idea. You don’t have to buy an entirely new headset just to get the ears. These are soft and plush, unlike the previously mentioned hard attachments. The downside is that I couldn’t find these in pink or purple. They run about $10 and fit headsets with a band up to 2 inches wide.

gaming mouse

When it comes to getting a pink mouse, a lot of people have different preferences due to hand size and the games that they play. I have almost child sized hands, so a lot of the gaming mice feel way too big or I have to stretch my fingers to ensure that I hit the right buttons. I found a few that look promising, and of course, they’re going to match the pink and girly set that we have going here.

First up is the Redragon M602. This mouse has 8 buttons, 7 of which are programmable with the RGB backlights. The mouse is an ergonomic design with up to 7200 DPI (speed of the mouse on the screen- the higher the number, the faster the mouse moves). It’s also weighted with an anti-ski scroll wheel, which can come in handy when you’re clicking with the scroll wheel and don’t want to accidently scroll up or down.

Attoe Gaming mouse comes in pink. It has 4 DPI levels (up to 3200 DPI) that control the speed of the cursor on the screen. Comes with 6 buttons and is Chroma RGB Backlit.

This mouse is ambidextrous, so it can be used by people who are right and left handed. It does have thumb buttons on both sides of the mouse, which is the first time I’ve seen that. There are a total of 8 mechanical buttons on the mouse.  Its RGB lit and has a programmable DPI level up to 16,000 DPI.

Pink Gaming keyboard

The final piece of the Razer set that I found is the keyboard. This is pink instead of the black that you usually get and is a mechanical keyboard, which is great for gamers. The downside to this is that it does not contain the 10-key number pad typically found on the right on most keyboards. Most gamers typically don’t use that, but if this is something that you need, check out the next keyboard from them.

Pink Razer Keyboard

This keyboard still matches the pink set up I have going on, but the difference from the above keyboard is that it contains the number pad that most “normal” keyboards contain too. It’s also touted to last twice as long as most other competitor keyboards.

Razer Pink Headphone holder

Instead of laying your headphones on the desk, or having a cord draped all over your desk and chair, why not charge your headphones on this stand? It will keep your desk organized and still match the pink groove that you’ve got going on, while giving you some easier to reach USB plugs.

If you or someone you know is into gaming, this is a great pink set up that can keep them going for years. Razer is a company that has been around for years and has built a name for itself.
